Sarah is an Aussie holistic, health and fitness YouTuber with a love for functional fitness. Creating healthy recipes ,healing the body naturally and utilising home remedies! With my two 8 week fitness guides, activewear line, healthy protein balls and Deluxe Mix products, she is determined to reshape the health and fitness world.

This website of Sarah’s main purpose is to promote herself and her business, which is a lot like what I want to do. Her audience at first glances looks to be her followers from other social media platforms. Also people wanting a more healthy lifestyle. Her photos encourages her audience to live a life like hers by purchasing her products and being happy.

The audience for her website are her followers and people wanting a healthy lifestyle. This is shown through her photographs, that ‘if you wear this and eat this’ you’re on the right track to a happy, healthy lifestyle. The purpose of her website is to promote herself and her brand. She has a ‘products’ tab for her viewers to buy her products making her money.

Typically for a ‘blog’ type of website it is very basic and minimalistic, so the page setup is rectangles but the content inside is set up in a very space aware way. Meaning everything is spaced out perfectly and in a nice, tidy, clean way. The rectangles are have a title explaining what it is about/the information on the topic and photos to back it up. The website has a distinct colour pallet, which is a really nice aesthetic of this happy, healthy living.

Her logo is set up in the middle of the page with her menu to each side of that, clearly spaced and with a bold, clear logotype. The colour of the text is either black white or pink, making things neutral. Image and Text integration doesn’t really come into play that much, they only time they really combine is on the front page where the main photos come up the text is on top spelling out the name of the latest posts.

I plan to have a simplistic approach to my portfolio similar to Sarah’s. The way her blog posts are set up are exactly how I will do my portfolio, but maybe bigger thumbnails like her products page. Her photographs are clear and her colour pallet is stellar. Her language is authentic to her, as if she was talking to her friend, so I will probably do the same.
