My first impression of this website was the earthy tones, which relates back to their brand 100% I think that was their purpose, so design a website that relates back to their views. The models in their photographs that scroll past look very chill and the photo above of the beautiful scenic view relates back to the whole natural vibe. I love the little woman graphic that scrolls down too, such a creative touch.
The audience for this website is an eco lover, a happy go lucky person who loves nature and the world. The bright lively colours are bout to make anyone happy, especially with their creative designs it brings that type of person into this kind of space.
The colours reflect the type of brand they are, happy and consciously making an effort to better the planet. The colours give it life. It gives the audience a reason to join their cause and create new values in their life.
On the front page each section is clearly marked off in their own little rectangles, with information about this brand but separated into categories such as.. Latest, Journal, Brands, Shop, Destinations, and Contact. The menu is clear and at the top of the page in each sub heading you go to and they have added a feature where it makes a cool wave effect if the curser is waved around it. The typography consists of two fonts, sans serif mainly. Images and text are combined, text is mainly on top of the images making a collage effect.
I aspire to have the passion that this brand has, looking at their page; they have clear values and know their aesthetic. It is very easy to use and it stands out. I’d love to have a different curser like theres as its a circle which little things like that are just cool and different. I also want to have a very basic page setup like this one – Rectangles do look easier.
