How was your research into contemporary websites / interactive designers informed your final presented interface. ?
My website research was actually a big contributing factor to how my final came out. After scrapping my first idea I did look at these websites for inspiration. I took on the sections used and applied them to my own work, Also keeping in mind that having a simple website doesn’t mean it is boring.
How can you be sure that the solution you have designed is appropriate for your target audience?
Well you can never be sure. I just hope that my designs and my layout can reflect what type of designer I am. I have a contact page for people that have an opinion or what to get in tough so I think that will help. I designed my page to attract the type of people I would like to work for.
Describe the most challenging aspect of this project. How did you overcome this challenge?
My most challenging aspect was learning to compromise. I really did not want to change my original design and I found it really tough to find a theme similar to what I wanted. I really just had to get over myself and just pick one. I also found it tough working with Elementor. I just couldn’t for the life of my figure out how to use it. But I overcame it with help from Dale, just showing me the ropes. It just took a little time.
Will you continue to use this website as part of your professional career?
I honestly think I will, I find it exciting to be able to create something that will benefit me in the future and potentially help me get a career. And as my designs and I mature, I can always change a few things around on my website.
